Admission Policy of the School
 
 

St. Paul's School is one of the units of the Divine Word Educational Society, a minority institution registered under the Article 30 (I) of the Constitution of India. Therefore, Admissions will be granted to students on a first come first serve basis up to category number 3 and the others will be selected on a random basis (lot system).

     1. Candidates who are Catholics / Christians

     2. Candidates who are siblings of students studying in the school

     3. Candidates who are Children of the School Employees

     4. Candidates who are Children of the Army / Police / CRPF Personnel (8 seats only)

     5. Others (lot system)

 

Note:- Candidates who apply for admission will be admitted as per the order mentioned above. If there are seats left after completing the above category 1 to 3, a random selection will be done for others by lots. The category of students who belong to 1 to 3 are eligible to be included in the category mentioned below as per Odisha Govt?s rule vide letter no.22655/SME dated 18th December 2010. Candidates who belong to the following category should apply for admission in the month of November.

    A. 15% of the seats for Children belonging to Disadvantaged Group (ST / SC / Homeless)

    B. 10% of the seats for Children belonging to Weaker section (BPL Card Holders)
